In accordance with the continuous reforms of the teaching materials and college entrance examinations, the demands of physics teaching are analyzed; new effective high school physics teaching modes are studied. What's more, the leading self-educated study and discuss teaching mode is introduced to provide references.Including preface and postscript, the whole dissertation is divided in five parts.The preface introduces the education reforms process in our country since 1978 in brief, and points out that the continuous reforms of the teaching materials and college entrance examinations are the results of the curriculum reform, the emphasis of the current education reform.The first part of the text describes the reforms of the teaching materials and college entrance examinations at present, which are the background of this quest for new type high school physics teaching mode.The second part of the text analyzes the demands of physics teaching with the teachers and the new specialty of high school physics teaching in this background.The third part of the text shows the leading self-educated study and discuss teaching mode, a new type high school physics teaching mode. Its topic, target, procedure, term, evaluation are introduced. Then the Lessons about Newton Laws is described as an example in order to explain the teaching design of the new mode. In addition, the practice circumstance about the new mode is analyzed and discussed.The postscript summarizes the advantages of the leading self-educated study and discuss teaching mode, the lacks of this quest and the problems in practice.
