History of historical education is an intercrossed discipline, which combines the history of historiography and history of education. The research of primitive historical education which is the begging of the historical education is of great importance. Because of the characters of the primitive historical education which are: long span of time, great breadth of the space, full of questions and broken points, it's so hard to make a detailed illustration of this subject, but always at this point, we got many vacancy to filled up. Fortunately, the development of the cultural anthropology, archeology and psychology and the richness of the material make the reconstruction of the primitive historical education comes true. In the article, the author will apply the achievement of multi-disciplinary research, and makes a depiction of the generation and the development of the primitive historical education under the perspective of genetic theory, then make an analyse of the characters and functions of the primitive historical education.This article is divided into three parts: exordium, any text and epilog.The former two chapters of the any text illustrates three versions of the genesis of the primitive historical education in a vertical view. At first, refers to the conditions of the genensis, the naissance of human-being, the maturity of his memory means they had equipped with the ability of historical thoughts, which could be seen as the genesis of the primitive historical education. Secondly, refers to the character of the transfer of history , the memories of the lineage is the starting point of the transfer of human history. Then , refers to the character of the primitive thoughts, the myths indicates indirectly the desire of how primitives wanted to describe the history , to reserve the memory, thus we can say, myths are also the sources of the primitive historical education.The third chapter follows the skeleton of the transfer of primitive historical education, depicts under the perspective of poetical history the spread of the primitive historical education and the differences of the historical education between eastern world and western world after the generation of letters. The fourth chapter summarized the main characters and the functions of the primitive historical education in a horizontal view. Considering the function, content and form of the historical education, we get the result that it is not only abundant but also concrete.
