A Study On How Can School PE Efficiently Develop Students' Body And Human Nature

Students are like early sun, who shoulder hope and future task of our nation. School physical education, as an important part of school education, should make contribution to students' physical and psychological development, which depends on whether school physical education has a specific and appropriate purpose and whether it can achieve its purpose.In order to set a specific and appropriate purpose for school physical education, the present research focuses on the nature of physical education. Coached by Cassirer, the founder of the "symbol—culture" philosophy, and the classical Greece art ,the present research adopts their research method and comes to following conclusions: First, Physical education has the nature of meeting people's need of pursuing freedom. Second, physical education plays an important role in building up student's body and perfecting student's human nature.Having conducted research on the correlation of the nature of physical education and students' physical and psychological development, the present research sets a specific and appropriate purpose for school physical education, which is to meet students' needs of pursuing freedom.In order to help school physical education achieve its purpose, the present research focuses on the characteristic of sports teaching and extra-curricular physical education, as well as student's requirements related to physical education. Guided by the theory of justice of Platon, the researcher argues that sports teaching should aim at teaching sports technique while extra-curricular physical education should aim at encouraging students to take part in physical exercises. Hence, I have designed the most efficient model of school physical education, which can meet the needs of freedom of students.In this present research, I have my ideals about the problems existing in school physical education, including ignoring sports technique and extra-curricular physical education.
