Courses are the intermediaries of personnel training objectives and specifications. Conducted the necessary investigations for a certain period of people's knowledge, ability and social status of future requirements, is an important prerequisite system to establish its goals and professional training courses.Surveyed PE teachers with the knowledge and ability status, school sports work status and demand for physical education professionals of 58 middle schools in Northeast. Compensated of Physical education curriculum reform program (Board of Education,2003), analysis and evaluation Shenyang Institute of Physical Education Curriculum 2005 reform program, get the following main conclusions:(1)In Shenyang Institute of Physical Education, performance application expertise Physical Education capable professionals: graduates not only can complete the physical education work, but also can competent after-school sports training, the various sports organization and management and sports science and social sports guide work(.2)In the society it needs PE teachers as teaching led to a special type of multi-skilling, at present, PE teachers in middle-school do not have a high level of overall teaching ability, in the main: they are low in PE design capability, the reality principle for a new project based on project design and ability to transform traditional, lack of Education and knowledge of teaching theory, theory of physical education knowledge and basic knowledge of sports. Curriculum reform program in 2005 are clear, the knowledge of the physical education professionals tend to the needs of the same. However, it lack of Education Curriculum with physical education in primary and secondary schools.(3)At present, PE teachers in middle school are better in special training ability, special technology and magistrate level, what they need to improve is the special theory. The curriculum reform in 2005 still exist "emphasis on technical skills and theoretical" phenomenon.(4)PE teachers low in the community guiding ability now. Performance in planning organization for grassroots sports competitions and the ability to guide the study and application of new capacity. Curriculum Reform in 2005, an increase of five fitness projects and three theories emerging programs, delete six courses of low-targeted, planning and organization of sports competitions will also be changed to popular sporting event planning and organization. Highly compatible with the social needs of the reform measures.(5)Although sports teachers give a considerable degree of attention to research work, however physical education teachers in middle school are shortage of scientific knowledge. At the same time, their research capability is the worst in five kinds of abilities. 2005 curriculum reform has failed to give sufficient attention (6)Due to the lack of knowledge and practice, leading to fail in training the plan, organization and management capabilities.
