1. ObjectiveThrough observing the influence of green tea active extract on blood serum Urea, MDA, CK, SOD and GSH-PX by means of human experiments on excellent rowing and football athletes after aerobic exercise, discuss green tea active extract's effects to aerobic exercise-induced fatigue recovery of those two sports items which will supply with experimental basis and lay theoretical foundation on green tea active extract efficacy analysis as well as its exploitation in athletic sports.2. Participants and methodsWe have 40 excellent male athletes of Wuhan Institute of Physical Education as our experimental subjects, including 24 rowing athletes and 16 football athletes. The athletes in each sports items were randomly divided into two groups: control group(C group) and experimental group(E group). Control groups take placebo, while experimental groups take green tea active extract. This is a disposable drug experiment. The test will be performed twice in this study: in the first test, both control groups and experimental groups take placebo; the second test, control groups take placebo, while experimental groups take green tea active extract. The interval of the two tests is one week. With the consideration of the features of these two sports items, let the rowing athletes take the 2000m Ergometer test and the football athletes take the 2800-meter race test. 2 hours after the test, the two groups are given the corresponding drugs, phlebotomize from the elbow in the next morning in the condition of limosis. Mensurate the blood serum Urea, MDA, CK, SOD and GSH-PX of the two tests respectively, then all data are proceeded statistical analysis by spss13.0.3. Results3.1 Self-comparison are made to compare the results of the rowing athletes in the experimental group after giving them the active green tea extract and placebo respectively in the two tests. It shows that the blood serum Urea, MDA, CK, SOD and GSH-PX of the rowing athletes after taking the active green tea extract are significantly better than taking the placebo(P<0.01).3.2 The results comparison between the rowing athletes in the experimental group and the control group after giving them the active green tea extract and placebo respectively shows that the blood serum Urea, MDA, CK, SOD and GSH-PX of the rowing athletes in the experimental group are significantly better than the results of the control group(P<0.01).3.3 Self-comparison are also made to compare the results of the football athletes in the experimental group after giving them the active green tea extract and placebo respectively in the two tests. It shows that the blood serum Urea, MDA, CK, SOD and GSH-PX of the rowing athletes after taking the active green tea extract are significantly better than taking the placebo(P<0.05),especially the MDA(P<0.01).3.4 The results comparison between the athletes in the experimental group and the control group after giving them the active green tea extract and placebo respectively shows that the blood serum Urea, MDA, CK, SOD and GSH-PX of the football athletes in the experimental group are significantly better than the results of the control group(P<0.05), especially the MDA(P<0.01).4. Conclusions4.1 In this study, the active green tea extract can decrease the CK of the rowing and football athletes, suggests it can improve the anti-fatigue capacity by preventing and repairing the damage of skeletal muscle.4.2 The active green tea extract can effectively decrease the blood serum Urea of the rowing and football athletes after the aerobic exercise with reducing the decomposition of structural protein and functional protein caused by the aerobic exercise and accelerate the recovery of exercise-induced fatigue(P<0.05).4.3 The active green tea extract can significantly decrease the MDA and increase the SOD and GSH-PX of the rowing and football athletes after the exercise test, indicates that the clearance of oxygen free radicals and the improvement of the activity of antioxidase are responsible for the improvement of body's anti-oxidation ability, reduce the damage caused by oxygen free radicals and accelerate the recovery of exercise fatigue.
