As a form of education with the largest scale, the least investment, the most flexible conformation and the highest open extend, self-study examination in high education is an innovation to the education regime in our country. It is playing a unique role in enhancing citizen's diathesis and constructing a system of life education. It is also playing an important part in the education for primary and secondary school teachers in Gansu, and making great contribution to the enhancement of the passing rate of education qualification and the improvement of the education qualification level of teachers in primary and secondary school.By analyzing the requirement of teacher specialization development in the background of new course reformation, this article holds out teachers must increase the moral, professional knowledge and the faculty about information technology, complete the role transformation, and learn how to study. Through analyzing the teachers' actuality in primary and secondary school of Gansu, this article points out the severe situation that teachers' education faced and the problems existed in Gansu. It puts out that the self study examination in high education is the special and effective way for teacher's education by analyzing its the advantages.This article analyses the effect and realistic influence of self-study examination for teachers' education in Gansu with the innovation of new lesson as background in order to improve the diathesis of teachers completely and accelerate their professional development. The main problems of self-study examination in the process of teachers' educating service have also been researched. We conclude that self examination in education should make good use of the advantages, strengthen characteristics, modify professional structure, change training model, enlarge examination function, and develop education qualification greatly. In order to create new achievement in training primary and secondary school teachers in Gansu, we should also utilize modern internet method, improve the level of information in examination, construct profession and lesson system adapted to development of modern teachers' education, and push the deep innovation in self examination education.This article is divided into four parts. First, the research background, strategy, individual, method and ideas are characterized. Second, teacher's education, meanings of self examination of high education and their relations are introduced. Third, we investigate the realistic effect of self study to teacher's education by analyzing the situation of teacher's education in Gansu. Forth, we put out the innovation strategy in education major of self examination based on the front research analysis.
