This thesis focuses on searching for practical and effective strategies of improvingstudent active participation in senior physics class based on the investigation, analysis andthinking of current situation of student active participation in senior physics class. Themain content of the first chapter of this thesis is to explain the cause of choosing this topicand the goal, the meaning, the content and the methods of the study. The second chapterexplains the related theoretical basis of student active participation in senior physics classand the concept of student active participation. The third chapter adapting questionnairesconducts a survey and analyzes the current situation of student active participation insenior physics class and presents a further thinking of the results. The fourth chapterconcludes, through class observing, self practicing and document studying, effectivestrategies of improving student active participation in senior physics class based on"teacher-led, student-centered" teaching philosophy. The fifth chapter is mainly about howto apply these strategies to class practice. The sixth chapter provides a summary andfeedbacks for the results of the study. The main purpose of this thesis is to explore practicaland effective strategies of improving student active participation in senior physics class,thus providing assistance for the effective class teaching for us teachers. It is hoped thatteachers can adopt these strategies to make high school physics classroom teaching moreefficient and improve students’ development more effective.
