Nowadays, the revolution of school's courses in our nation is carrying out like a raging fire. To accelerate the development of the students' balanced and individual characters, normal senior middle school courses' criterion designs required courses and elective courses. Poetry is one part of the elective courses, which has five series in it. Thinking all these conditions on the less, slow, weak, and wasted in the traditional teaching of poetry. This issue lay emphasis on the cause of times, system, artificiality firstly, and analyze the current middle school's classical poetry's three misunderstanding: intuition understanding substitute the rational analysis, the ignorance of the students, and the blear line of the edition of the teaching material. The idea is to find a method of the teaching classical poetry elective courses and the train of thought of the editing its elective courses' material by studying the Tang poetry.After two rounds's teaching practice, I confirm initially the train of thought of the election of the Tang poetry, and achieve a section material on the poetry developing. At the same time, I sum up some effective teaching methods to share with other companions.The courses' totally train of thought contains four parts, first of all, the material is focus, and at the requirement of the students. Then, the clear clue of the material is giving the students a wholly scheme of the Tang poetry developing. Thirdly, the mobility methods improve the students' activity. The important of all is that the varied methods encourage students' studying passion sufficiently.In the aspect of the edition, I select the most representative poets and tributary in different periods according the four sections, and briefly add the background, character and so on. It can spare no effort to reach students' contents.And in the aspect of the designing of the method, I push aside the dull graphic method. And try my best to reduce the distance of the students and the classic poet and poetry. By designing three important links of understandings poet, poem, history, it can reach the purpose of molding character.Through the teaching practices for many years, I realize that the line of Chinese classic poetry teaching is aesthetic education. It seems no realistic that put all language, literature, mind, writing on the only poetry, and seriously hamper the common communication between the students and the poetry. Meanwhile, it have to strengthen the declaim training of the classic poetry. Nevertheless, the idea, how to overcome the college entrance examination's power pressure, and some intrinsic character of the classic poetry incompatible with the current, accelerate the reduction of the distance between the students and classic poetry. And it is also the seeking orientation for all the teachers.
