The practicalness of Chinese teaching is that the students, who can be active to study and practice again and again, can get the ability under the organization and direction of their teachers in the course of Chinese education. The form of skill in language is based on practice which is the basic character of Chinese education, so practice is very necessary to study Chinese.There is a situation that the principle of teaching is disobeyed in Chinese education for the lack of correct understanding about the practical essence in the course of Chinese teaching. Teachers' teaching does not consist with their students' practice. They just think that homework and exercises are the practice of Chinese studying.The reason of the lost of the practicalness of Chinese teaching is the lack of basci theory and characteristic of Chinese practicalness. The theory is not perfect makesour textbooks compilation not reflect the principle of practice which also is restricted by the unperfect system of evacuation.In this paper, the writer thinks if we want to build the practical Chinese coursesin Chinese teaching, we must form a system of evaluation to examine the practicalabilities of students. We not only showed care for students' understanding of theknowledge, but also pay attention to the form and grasp of their skill in language.And we should have many methods evaluate our students.In concrete Chinese teaching procedure, the teacher should break loose from the fetters by examination.He should properly switch his position as a teacher to a mentor and co-worker of the standents, dealing well with the reletionship between explaining and exercising in the way that the Chinese lessons should be based on lead-in of exercises, thar is to say, Chinese practical activity is carried out under the direction of the teacher so well designed step by step that it will achieve the certain goals. At the same time, the teacher should make a point of apperceiving and subliming the language in order to make the self-study the essential strategy, aiming at promoting Chinese study practically as well as improving the students' transferability. It is effective for the student to prepare their own study through self-knowedge, for life is not only the beginning but also the end of Chinese practical study. Therefore, Chinese teaching and life ought to be strengthened.
