The small size of count and the fastness of tennis ball demand the player move swiftly if he wants to strike back the ball with sudden spurt of energy as well as within his full control. In the physical exercise of tennis, a coach should make his players understand that in s fierce contest a player could only trying his skills and approaches into full play on condition that he possess good psychology of the match and is in excellent physical condition, apart from surpassing his opponent in tactics and maneuvers.Track and Field can facilitate the development of physical qualities such as speed, strength, stamina, agility and coordination, and meanwhile, willpower, skills required by tennis and improvements of players can be acquired out of Track and Field. In a word, Track and Field can not only serve as the basis for physical training but also provide the fundamental way of training for various sports.In this dissertation, by means of such research methods as Literatures, Qualitative study, Case study, statistics, surveys and analyses the physical drills of Chinese youth players starting from the basic role Track and Field, plays in tennis physical training. The conclusions are as follows:(1) Speed, Strength, Stamina, Agility, Coordination and other physical qualities as well as sports'skills, improvements of players and willpower can be secured out of Track and Field. According to the requirements of players'physical condition, training method in Track and Field, pandering to tennis can effectively develop players'qualities in tennis of strength, stamina, agility, resiliency other qualities.(2) A player in a tennis contest, one composed of consecutive short-time action of sudden, Spurt of energy, obtains energy from a combination of 3 types of energy system, namely ATP-CP system, unaerbobic system, Aerobic system, accounting for 70%, 20%, 10% of the total respectively.(3) China has attached great importance to physical training and test on youth players. In the recent 3 years, the developing trend of China's young players'physical qualities is sound and robust with men's physical qualities pronouncedly above women's.(4) The tendencies of the development of physical training are as follows: First of all, the physical training is more and more scientific and reasonable. Second, the physical training could comply with tennis principles, traits and rules of tennis training. Third, the physical training programs could combine systematic physical training targeting against physical training aiming at tennis tests through the whole year, the physical training program can provide a training systematically with a clear goal, amid which psychological training and recovery training are included, and training in a individualize style.
