Establishment Of Urban Family-Planning Association And Research On Family-Planning Strategies

The Family Planning Association, as a non-government organization to promote family planning activity, has developed into one of the largest social organizations in the country. How to bring the organization to play an important social role, bear responsibility on promoting family planning work and accomplish the task of performing according to the international convention, they promote the continuous, harmonious and scientific development of family planning is the major subject of urban community work at present.Based on"biproduction"theory, acting according to the idea of scientific development of population, resource and environment in harmony, the thesis analyses the present situation of Family Planning Association under the urban system reform at the basic level, put forward the effective way of organizing the urban community FPA(Family Planning Association) .The conclusion drawn from the establishment of FPA is the development of FPA must agree with the comprehensive establishment of community, carry out a series of mass activities through such steps as coordination, promotion, progress and breakthrough.By comparing the strategies at different times at home and abroad and the different effects, this thesis deals mainly with the importance of family planning strategy. By analizing the challenge faced with forming family planning strategy and searching for the countermeasure in working out the FP(family planning) strategy, a break through has been made, thus the importance necessity of FP is highlighted.After the accomplishment of the community family planning association, what is most important is how to lay down and carry out community FP strategy. According to the working method, social needs and main task of FP in a certain development period, the thesis established four basic strategies: resident autonomy, women defending their rights, publicizing the protection and care of AIDS and adolescence health care. Meanwhile the thesis aims to practice some ways in carrying out FP policies.To conclude, making the FP strategies is only past of urban community strategy. Therefore, here is still a lot to deal with, for instance, social security for the aged, disabled children. There are still after problem which can not be settled, such as birth out of plan, as a result of the contradiction between the FP policy and the willing to bear more children of the masses. That is the problem which is not able to be settled by FPA.
