To cultivate the students'creative spirits and to develop the students'creative ability is the first important objective of education. The biology experiment teaching is the effective ways to cultivate the students'creative spirits and the creative ability. The reform of biology course in our country attaches much importance to the experiment reform, but the poor quality of high school biology experiment teaching has been perplexing the teachers who are teaching all the time. This article has definitely expounded the causes that result in the current biology experiment teaching"low effectiveness"by attending classes questionnaire survey and so on. The main causes are as follows : 1) the same teaching procedures of every experiment : the teachers'explanation and demonstration→the students'imitation→the summary of the results of the experiment; 2) the separation of theory and practice when the students do the experiment; 3) too strong guiding function of the teachers in the experiment teaching; 4) no evaluations in the students'attitude to the experiment, the ability of carry on the experiment and the consciousness of cooperation; 5) By using the previous unsuitable teaching ways, the students'thoughts are limited , causing the students'psychology inertia.To deal with the phenomenon, the writer puts forward some strategic...
