Since the imperial examinations came forth, Chinese education always surrounded it for teaching and studying. So when it came to modern time, the dominant of the society was the scholar-bureaucrat. As they knew the advance of the western science, they set up a new education mode abased the mission school upbuilded by the missionaries. In this article, I want to talk this new mode education in China under the western circumstance. First, I will analyse the base , Chinese education on the ancientry time, of the mode. Second, I will construe the western knowledge which taken into by the missionaries, then discuss the idiosyncracy of this education mode. And then, I will elicit the idea, which is defined as body China when surface western, from comparing the teaching method between the China and the Western. In the end, I want to take the Fujian Shipping and Polity School as an example to analyse which is the better way for teaching, between this two different teaching methods, and talk something about the effection of it to Chinese education's modernization.
