Study On The Condition, Problems And Countermeasure Of Zhangzhou Secondary Vocational Education

Zhangzhou is the main city of the West Cross-Strait economy Which stands in the southeast of Fujian. Nowadays, Zhangzhou government puts forward the strategic target of developing the city's industry and makes some new requirements.One of them is to quicken the development of Zhangzhou Secondary Vocational School and foster the high quality labor force.Although Zhangzhou VET makes great achievement during the past years, it is still a weak point in education which doesn't suit the needs of economic development in Zhangzhou. So, doing research of Zhangzhou VET present situation and existing serious problems is to get some reference of the theory and practice to the economic development of Zhangzhou as well as the West Cross-Strait Economic Area.By the ways of investigation, interviewing, comparison and literature, the paper analyzes the present situation of Zhangzhou secondary vocational education and gets the result that the serious problems in Zhangzhou VET are the school's mode , students constitution, teachers group construction and the teaching quality. And the main reasons for the above are the Social views, teaching views, teaching methods and teaching systems. Therefore, Zhangzhou government and the teaching charging department should pay more attention to the development of VET and realize the important relation between VET and the local economic development. Moreover, all the Secondary Vocational Schools should adopt some effective measures to improve the teaching quality to foster the advanced skilled persons.
