The curriculum value plays an important role in the establishment and the implementation of curriculum. In the day of value pluralization, different groups and different individuals always have different curriculum values, even conflict with each other sometimes. Under this background whether the individual teacher holds multiplex curriculum orientation also? To get answer to this question, I chose one Junior High School Chinese teacher as my case and followed her for a month to observe her curriculum values mainly from the following five aspects: curriculum view, teaching view and strategy, teacher's role, teacher's expectation to students and evaluation. During the observation, some methods like participatory observation, in-depth interviews and work analyses have been used to collect information.The teacher exhibits in her actual teaching a multiplex curriculum value such as disciplinary-mastery orientation, learning-process orientation, self-actualization orientation and social-adaptation orientation. Among them, learning-process orientation acts as her dominate value. This orientation not only emerges in all of the five aspects above, but also gets the privilege in the conflict with others. In this case the teacher's curriculum value is more complex than she said, but the teacher herself she dose not realize that her teaching is affected by the multiplex curriculum value. She hold her dominate value in a mazed situation more or less.In addition, an analysis about the cause of the teacher's curriculum value in this case has been made. It's shown that, on the one hand, the formation and persistence of her dominate curriculum value are closely related to her personality characteristics, education experience and teaching experience; on the other hand, her other curriculum values mainly affected by her education-project-research experience and in-service -education experience. Many reasons, such as value diversification, reality pressure, lack of reconsidering, rational judgment and integration to the curriculum value, cause the teacher confused to her curriculum value.To help teachers go out of the mess, finally, I advise teachers to clarify their multiplex curriculum value and find one dominate value through reflection, communication and values clarification.
