| In view of the characteristics of of urban agriculture development in Shanghai and the running mechnism of Shanghai agricultural vocational and technical school, the vocational technical personnel demands were discussed to meet the development of urban agriculture in Shanghai specifically including: (1) agricultural producers with innovative awareness and ability who had the technical and operational skills to manage modern agricultural production by mastering new agricultural machinery; (2) technical guidance and extention personnel who engaged in the introduction, development and application of high-quality and efficient new technologies for agricultural production; (3) operators and managers who had a strong sense of the market and understood business management of agriculture. (4) personnel who continuously developed and applied new technology and methods for agricultural product storage, preservation, processing and packaging.According to the demand for urban agriculture development in Shanghai, it was important to pay great attention to the practice of teaching in agricultural vocational and technical education. Its main roles lay in vocational training, innovative awareness culturing and overall quality improving for students. There were two maj(?)r c(?)tegories of the practice of teaching. One was teaching activities to consolidate the theoretical knowledge with practice, the other was to apply specific skills in practice and in the process further expanded the professional knowledge, which occupied the dominant position in the practice of teaching of agricultural vocational and te(?)hnical education. Vocational and technical education training base must be carried (?) in the practice of teaching.There were 7 parts and 200 trainning positions with the qualification identification from primary, intermediate, high-level to professional skills in practice training center of Shanghai agricultural vocational and technical school covering floral and horticulture, landscape, floral decoration, modern agricultural facilities, pet domestication and animal clinics and nursing. There were three majors i.e. modern horticulture, urban landscape architecture, urban animals culturing and four parts i.e. greenhouse facilities plot, biotechnology plot, urban landscape plot and pet culturing plot. Environmental design of training center should be modern, characteristic of agriculture and forestry and people-oriented for environmental education functions.The operation and management mechanism of vocational and technical training base were also discussed in this dissertation. |
