The Research On Quantitative Study Of Marriage Squeezing

In China, marriage as a kind of social behavior is from cluster marriage mode of ancient times up to now of"monogamy"experienced long time. The"monogamy"mode request one single man suit one single women both from quantity and quality .However such situation can hardly attain. Because the whole population amount is always in a dynamic state, men and women in the same amount under a certain condition is always a momentary behavior. Marriage age men are more or less than marriage age women is a very common phenomenon. If this kind of dissymmetry outruns certain scope and then wills constitute a marriage problem. A kind of condition is the marriage to squeeze phenomenon.There are five parts in my thesis. Part one, the theories of this research, the theories overview and related concept. Although compared with the research on other population problems the research on marriage squeeze is just a little weak, the domestic and international academic circles have still obtained some achievement in this circle. The writer sorts and refines the last years different scholar's standpoints with different angle .To further understanding the concept marriage squeeze we introduce its important related concept"marriage market".Part two, introducing the research measure of marriage squeeze. We can know several main methods for measuring of the marriage squeeze and get their good points and bad points .The method which is introduced by Guo zhigang has more advantage than others, for instance, the method making concrete introduction. Part three, the current situation and the reason .The writer elect the number of the fifth census of population and get the ratio of marry sex of newly married market is 141.14.From this ,we can know the male marriage squeezing is remarkable. We can analyze this kind of condition from both born sex ratio and infant death. The conclusion is that only individual born sex ratio from 1964 to 1980 is unusual, but it continues to show an upward tendency recent years. The born sex ratio in 1990 is 111.3, in 2000 is 116.9, in 2003 is 117.3, in 2004 is 121.06.This will result serious consequences .now the main reason of marriage squeezing is the baby boy's death rate and baby girl's death rate is between 0.9-1.1, but the common rate is 1.2-1.3.We can analyze the reason is that the concerning on baby girl is not enough .Part four, bad influence of the society. The difficult of male marring main perform on the poor and the body who with low education background .For marrying difficult, the Couple's age distance will space out, so the normal circumstance of marriage market will be broken. This situation will cause the divorce rate and crime rate rise easily, and the female's economic position is hard to improve. The fifth part, solving measure. Enhancing the people's sense of marriage squeeze and the equality between men and women. Beside this we also need to create good marriage market environment.
