Because of the long-term influence of the examination-oriented education system, especially the serious influence of unilaterally pursuing the rate of entering higher school, in the current composition teaching in the senior high school, the instructions and training of writing techniques and modes are only valued, but the regulations of composition teaching are not followed, and the development of the students' writing interest are despised, and the student's backlog is despised, the composition knowledge of system instruction is in lack. Part of the Chinese teachers don't understand high school student's likes and dislikes, even don't notice the inconstancy of the rash childish weak mind of the students .They don't guide the students how to observe life and experience life personally. Their teaching methods are simple, the topics are out of date, and have no teaching plans, and don't give enough instructions , and their composition teaching level is low. This kind of way doesn't follow writing regulations and writing mind of the students. As a result, the senior school students become lazy, don't gather materials, and have no writing interest in their composition studies. They write compositions to deal with their homework. Because of lack of life accumulation and living experience, their compositions are full of bosh, and there are no genuine feelings in them. The phenomenon of making up a composition freely is severe.The current composition teaching in the senior high school must be reformed to change this kind of present condition. In my teaching practice, I have realized that the regulations of composition teaching must be followed, the students must be the main body, the teacher must be leading. The students must be active in composition writing. The teachers must value the students' backlog and guide the students how to gather materials and observe and experience life, and develop a writing skill. The plans of composition teaching must be combined with flexibility. The students must develop a creating thinking, their observation ability and imagination. The students must be willing to write compositions, have words to say, say real words and express their real feelings. The students must improve the whole diathesis to write good compositions. Guided by wring theories, I put forward some concrete suggestions of reform in composition teaching according to the position and function and request of high school composition, using question papers in this thesis. This thesis consists of introduction, introspects of the present condition of composition teaching in the senior high school, and the countermeasures and practice of reform in composition teaching in the senior high school. I hope that this thesis will provide a worthy reference on the teachers' composition teaching and the students' writing.
