Changing students' learning style and cultivating students scientific literacy are the important contents and aims of the new course reform currently.The modern learning style, which characterizes as independent, cooperative and inquiry, can promote students learning, can be good for students to command scientific knowledge, be good to experience the course of science research, to learn the basic approach of science research, to deepen the recognition of science essence, to promote their innovating mind and practical ability, be good to deepen the recognition of the relation of the science, technology and society, to build up the idea of the continuable development. So that it can promote the cultivation of students' scientific literacy.Scientific literacy is the base of all-life learning. Only if students had scientific literacy, they would treat the scientific technology correctly and have the idea of continuable development. At the moment, it can promote students to change their learning style.The paper introduces the concept of learning style, the characters of the modern learning style, and the meaning of scientific literacy. And the paper discusses the relation between the modern learning style and the scientific literacy, which is the revolutionary point of the paper. At the end of the paper, it discusses how to make students change learning style and how to cultivate students scientific literacy.
