The textbook had a large variety since the new curriculum reform begun. The flexible design of the new textbook is helpful to re-develop the textbook for teacher. For the students of countryside, it is more necessary for the teacher to re-develop the textbook. And, the re-development can promote teacher's professional ability. Other people's studies of textbook re-development include connotation; teacher's status and function; content; strategy and so on. These studies are lack of the specially discussion which re-develops textbook and are lack of the countryside teacher's attention. It provides the space for my research.The textbook re-development is a characteristic activity, and it is hard to collect the research data needing with the way of quantitative investigation. So, this research mainly adopts the qualitative investigation. The main research technique has the classroom observation the interview and the object collection.After the X teacher's on-the-spot investigation, the writer discover that the teacher's re-development mainly includes before lesson stage and in lesson stage. The re-development content mainly is text system, and is lack of re-developing the help reading system and the work system. The re-development way mainly includes dialoguing with the textbook; cooperating with the colleagues; using network; using local resources and so on. The re-development strategy mainly includes adjusting; increasing; merging; fusing; replacing and so on.After analyzing the X teacher's re-development behavior, the writer discover that there are some factors be influencing the behavior of the countryside teachers. It includes the teacher's view on the textbook; the teacher's feeling degree to curriculum resources; the teacher's characteristics; the teacher's attitude to the work; training pointed and comprehensive; the teacher's culture; school hardware facilities; evaluation system etc. In order to improve the countryside teacher's re-development of the textbook, the countryside teacher should do form curriculum consciousness and change the view on the textbook firstly. Secondly, the countryside teacher should do study hard "the curriculum standard" and the textbook. Thirdly, the countryside teacher should do develop the many kinds of curriculum resources fully, fourthly, the countryside teacher should do insist on introspecting to compensate the re-development activities in the first two stage. Lastly, the countryside teacher should do cooperate mutually and share the experiences of the textbook re-development.
