At present, the role of the HPS (which is the abbreviation of the history, philosophy and sociology of science) in science education has become a very hot issue of science education reform in international science educational field, and many people pay much attention to it. Although there is some relevant exploration in theory and practice in our country, generally speaking, we have yet seldom seen systemic and valuable research findings. Taking this context into consideration, I have referred to a lot of relevant papers to review the researching status of relevant aspects in China, and try to in the perspectives of several relevant subjects to do some analysis and thinking to the state of science education today. And then, I also attempt to point out some relevant suggestions about the reform of Chinese science education. My suggestion is by increasing teaching about the history of science in our science education to solve problems partially and improve the case of science education. I think it is consistent with the current requests of harmonious society, sustainable development, and people foremost.The research methods of this mater's thesis are as follows. Firstly, this thesis mainly by studying a great deal of literature and carry on an integrate analysis, summarize the present research condition of teaching about history of science in science education in our country; Secondly, try to combine some basic contents of several related subjects to carry on an analysis on science education; And then, summarize and generalize my teaching practice and thinking and feeling about science education in my daily life, to express my related understanding about science education; Finally, analyze the existent problems in our science education and the probable problems of teaching about the history of science in current science education, Consequently put forward my relevant suggestions. In a ward, on the foundation of the fore people's study, this thesis tries to carry on further argumentation on the necessity and possibility about improving science education in our country by teaching about the history of science.The content of this thesis mainly includes followed parts. The first part is a brief introduction of related research background: Introduce briefly the history and present condition of science education and teaching about the history of science in the United States and China. The second part is the analysis combined with the theory of related subjects: Mainly introduce and combine with philosophy, sociology and history of science and science culture to discuss the importance of teaching about the history of science in science education. The third part is the related thinking on science educational and teaching about the history of science: Mainly introduce general education and the inspiration state and the relations with teaching about the history of science. I think in this thesis, firstly, general education is a kind of education which is advantageous to the overall and harmonious development of students, and has various meaning and important value. Teaching about the history of science is valid and more close to general education and the reality of education. Secondly, the inspiration appearing conditions are as follows: Think and explore related problems, accumulate related knowledge, remembrance, experience and thinking fruits, supply plenty of energy for maintaining the state of mind to import the flow of negative entropy, have a good state of mood and mindset, strong interest and moderate motive etc. But for most of these conditions, teaching about the history of science is always very meaningful. Briefly speaking, teaching about the history of science can not only explore fulfillment road for general education, but also be advantageous to training a student to have intuition ability and control ability of the inspiration states. The fourth part is the analysis of the value of teaching about the history of science: Mainly from the interior of teaching about the history of science analyze its value for students to study science and make progress. I think in the thesis, teaching about history of science is advantageous to fostering a proper view of science, building up interest in science studying, deepening comprehension of scientific knowledge, understanding science method completely, raising the ability to appreciate the beauty of science, communicating science and humanities, and benefits in understanding the widespread relationships inside and outside of science, and be advantageous to fostering the general appreciate ability of beauty to make students have an overall and harmonious development. The fifth part is the analysis to and thinking of the related problem: Mainly analyze the problem existing in current science education in our country and the issues we may meet with when the teaching about the history of science integrates into science education. The sixth part is a conclusion and the correspond suggestions: Point out three possible kinds of teachings about the history of science and present other conditions of teaching about history of science. This research displays the value of teaching about the history of science well from several aspects, and it produces a more complete analysis system on the value of teaching about history of science. The conclusion is teaching about history of science has important meaning and special value for us to work out existent problems in our current science education. The creative points in this thesis are as follows: Firstly, analyze science education, combining with fundamental content in some related subjects, such as philosophy and sociology of science...etc. Secondly, combining the feeling of studying of history of science, science culture, general education and inspiration state etc. and related thinking, discuss the meaning of teaching about the history of science in science education. Thirdly, referring to a great deal of papers, review present research findings on teaching about the history of science in science education in our country. Fourthly, combining with my own teaching practice and daily thinking and feeling, analyze existent problems in our science education. Fifthly, comprehensively discuss teaching about history of science in science education and give some relevant suggestions.Certainly, because of my limited energy, time and ability, this thesis has yet much shortage and imperfect. For this, I will continue to think and research, to deepen my understanding of theories and practice of science education, and try to make great efforts for the academic study and practices of science education in our country.
