| The nation promulgated successively Fulltime System Compulsory Education Common High School English Curriculum Criterion (the experiment draft) and Common High SchoolT English Curriculum Criterion (experiment) (the followed is called two Curriculum Criterions ), the two Curriculum Criterions all put forward the the suggestion on applying Task-based Language Teaching approach .Currently, in our country,the study on the theories and fulfillment of Task-based Language Teaching mode is basically concentrated on economic flourishing region .Because of the uneven economic development in our country,there is a big gap of teaching condition,teacher quality and ability and living standards in the west and east or in the south and north. However,in the large village region ,the use of Task-based Language Teaching mode is relatively lagged ,furth more,the discuss about it from teachers and experts is not enough.But the teaching material based on new Curriculum Criterion village regions. It has been used already,whether in the developed cities or in undeveloped undeveloped regions, especially in the common high school in the country,what realistic problems will be met in the course of expanding and carrying out Task-based Language Teaching and in order to resolve these problems, what strategies we should adopt to promote the localization of Task-based Language Teaching, all about these must cause our thinking and the concern.This paper pointed out four problems existing in students,teachers,teaching materials and teaching(language learning environment and English teaching evaluation) through the inquisition on the implement of Task-based Language Teaching in three common senior high schools in S County and analysed the produce of the reasons, putting forward five corresponding strategies,i.e. (1) Learn about Task-based Language Teaching correctly and treat it scientifically. (2)Appropriate Adjust Curriculum Criterion Appropriately. (3)Revise the contents of teaching materials.(4) Strengthen the trains to teachers . (5)Build the resonnable evaluation mechnism. It is worth mentioning that the paper set out Task-based Language Teaching mode preliminarily that is adapt to the common high schools in the villages.It has a certain reference value on how to promot Task-based Language Teaching localization and carry through betterly and perfect Curriculum Criterions . |
