Research Of Life Education On University Students

Along with the developments of the economic globalization and cultural diversified, physical life of human is more and more abundant in the modern society. However, the development of the economics and the progress of the society also bring some negative influences to the human. Under the obligations of the political and economic benefits, human life has received threats continuously come from the war, the environmental pollution, the terrorism and so on, the phenomenon of ignoring life occurs continuously. More serious is that while our material life is more and more rich, the hedonism, mammonism, personal egoism and so on spread unceasingly, causing the utilitarianism spreads unceasingly, human inner world is more and more deficient, more and more people is confused to the life, give up pursuing life value. Under this background, all countries give a deep concern to the human life, Life Education start developing rapidly in the whole world.In 1990's later, Life Education has been started to develop in our country, many scholars all carried on a thorough research to this problem, and also obtained certain results in the practice. The practice of Life Education has been started in the elementary and middle schools in the area of Hong Kong, Taiwan as well as Shanghai, Liaoning and Fujian, and this has built the foundation of theory and practice on Life Education. In the last few years, the phenomenon of university students ignoring life such as committing suicide, injuring other people and despising life value appears unceasingly. Although Life Education has been researched in certain degree in our country, but the research on the higher education has not established a sufficient system, also has not been paid enough attention. Building a system of Life Education on university students is one of the most urgent missions for us.This paper is based on this point, beginning with the concept of Life Education the auth or elaborates the necessity for Life Education, the goal and the content of Life Education as well as the implementary measure for Life Education in detail. The paper is totally divided into four parts:In the first part, the article combs the views on life at all times and in all over the world. It established the theoretical foundation for launching Life Education further, and then elaborates the concepts of life and Life Education; In the second part, the article mainly discusses the necessities of performing Life Education in universities. First,the author makes a basic understanding through a questionnaire about the views on life of university students, and then elaborates this question from the need of social development, the phenomena of university students ignoring the life as well as the flaws of university education in our country ; In the third part, the article expounds the aim and main contents of Life Education on university students, it theoretically has carried on the construction to the Life Education on university students; In the forth part, the author offers proposals on how to advance the ways and methods of performing Life Education, aiming to provide directions for the practice of Life Education in universities.
