Arrival of knowledge-based economy ages, call the exaltation of the civil character, which request that the students with history education must have economic consciousness. Along with the middle school history reform in education has progressed continuously and thoroughly, the historiography field agree on this point:"the history education must adapt to the time", and emphasize that the history education must strengthen the economic consciousness, which was a weakness in former history teaching exactly. The education of the students' economic consciousness is an important mission of any educator in history teaching. The purpose of this thesis is to clarify the relative subjects about emphasizing and strengthening the economic consciousness education under the new situations.The thesis discusses is the importance of the middle school history teaching and enhance the necessity, teaching objects, teaching contents, teaching methods, functions and results of the economic consciousness theoretically and practically. Emphasizing and enhancing the economic consciousness in middle school history teaching is the need of practical modernization education principles and time development; is also the common educational ground of history education of many nations in the world; is the target of the history teaching, and also is a new lesson to be enhanced; is also the need of middle school students for self-development all life. The thesis, with the inquisition, understanding and analysis of the present condition of the economic consciousness of middle school students, sets and enhances the teaching goals and teaching methods in middle school students, sets and enhances the many-year middle school history teaching practice of myself, broadens the teaching visual field, introduces the feasible plans to enhance the economic consciousness to the student in middle school history teaching, discusses the functions and results of emphasizing and enhancing the economic consciousness in middle school history teaching, is helpful for middle school students to exalt their history thought abilities; is beneficial to foster the students' correct world outlook, outlook on life and value outlook, social sense of responsibility, sound personality; makes the history thought ability, makes middle school students more concern about the society and understanding the society.In all, emphasizing and enhancing students the economic consciousness is the need of time, and of the students and the nation's development. The thesis is of some reference value to the middle school history course reform and the teaching practices.
