A Probe Into The Current Situation And Reform Of The PE Club Teaching Organizational Forms In Higher Education Institution

Teaching organizational form is a mutual form for teachers andstudents in teaching activities, which is an important researching subjectin pedagogy. PE club, as a new teaching form in colleges and universities,is still in its experimental period and has a long way to go. Continuouspractice and summaries of PE clubs and investigation of students'learning not only test PE clubs' teaching effect, but also exemplify thefurther development for PE clubs. What's more, PE clubs can examinethe present PE teaching forms from students' angle and stressstudent-centered educational theory.By means of questionnaires, this thesis investigates and analyzes thesituations of PE clubs employed as the teaching organizational form bysome colleges and universities in Hunan province. The investigatingcontent includes the students' study behaviors in class and after class andtheir participation in social activities. Part one is the preface, whichexpounds the researching situation and methods (including questionnaires,documentation, logic and mathematical statistics, etc.) of the teachingform—PE club. Part two is the researching result and the analysis, mainlydiscusses the course thought to develop PE clubs in colleges anduniversities, and investigates the current situation of them, and theinfluence of PE clubs on students' study behaviors in class or after classand on their participation in social activities. Through the analysis, comparison and discussion of the investigatorydata, the thesis advances the reform direction for PE clubs and developingtrends: student-centered educational thought, improving PE clubmanagement system, strengthening the environmental construction for PE,providing students with broader socializing surroundings, andestablishing the evaluating system of PE course.The research of this subject can probably perfect PE club theorysystem and expands the developing space and broadens the studyingangle of view, and makes suggestions and reference for the further reformof PE in colleges and universities.
