Self-efficacy was put forward by Albert Bandura in 1977, and it canpredict people how to behave. Based on the summarize of dynamicdevelopment of the present research on self-efficacy, and combined withcurrent situation of the development of higher vocation education inChina, this thesis, which considered the domestic and oversea researcheson the influential factors about self-efficacy, formed the questionnaireabout the influential factors of vocational college students' sense ofself-efficacy. This essay launched a investigation on vocational collegestudents in Hunan with a questionnaire consisted of General Self-EfficacyScale (GSES) and a questionnaire about the influential factors ofvocational college students ' sense of self-efficacy. Based on suchinvestigation, it explored the characteristics of general self-efficacy andInfluential Factors of vocational college students.The results of this study are as follows:1.There are differences in general self-efficacy between thevocational college students in Hunan and college student samples inChina. As a whole, the characteristic is: the scores of vocationalcollege students in the general self-efficacy scale were lower thanthose of Chinese college student samples.2.The sex differences exist in general self-efficacy. The malevocational college students are with higher general self-efficacy than female.3.There doesn't exist significant difference among grades, majors,regions, family structures, the only child or not in the family.4. The questionnaire about the influential factors of vocationalcollege students ' sense of self-efficacy has good reliability andvalidity.5.The influential Factors of vocational college students' generalself-efficacy consist of six dimensions. They are family factor, socialfactor, school factor, physiological characteristic, psychologicalcharacteristic and success experience. Physiological characteristic,psychological characteristic and success experience influent thegeneral self-efficacy directly.
