With the rapid economic development in our country and the rapid increase in comprehensive national strength,higher education has enjoyed unprecedented growth.The enrollment rate of higher education institutions has risen year by year.Every year,colleges and universities give a large amount of university students to the public.However,due to the imbalance between supply and demand of college graduates in the labor market,employment of university graduates has become a difficult problem and has attracted widespread attention of the whole society.How to improve the competitiveness of college graduates in the process of employment and improve the employment rate of college graduates has become an urgent problem to be solved.Therefore,domestic and foreign scholars and actual management workers have a more in-depth study of this,but from the perspective of the general sense of self-efficacy on the employment impact of college graduates is rare,so this article based on the general sense of self-efficacy of employment performance Impact to explore.This paper selects employment performance as a measure of college graduates employment indicators,including process performance and performance results of two dimensions.Process performance is a measure of the success of college graduates employment process performance;and the results of the performance is to measure the success of college graduates to achieve employment and whether to achieve the desired job performance.The factors influencing the employment performance of college graduates are many.The influential elements selected in this paper are general self-efficacy,and join the occupational values of intermediary variables to explore the relationship between general self-efficacy,professional values and employment performance.In this paper,college graduates in 2018 colleges and universities in Shanxi Province as the research object,distributed 325 questionnaires,valid questionnaires for290,the questionnaire is 89.2% efficient.Empirical study of data using statistical software Spass17.0 and Amos17.0.Through empirical research,the main conclusions drawn in this paper are:(1)There is a positive correlation between general self-efficacyand professional values.The general sense of self-efficacy and occupational values of the three dimensions,namely,prestige status factors,health factors and development factors were positively correlated.(2)There is a positive correlation between occupational values and employment performance.Among them,the three dimensions of professional values,that is,the prestige status factor,the health factor,the development factor and the process performance have a positive correlation,and the performance performance have a positive correlation.(3)The general self-efficacy and employment performance showed a significant positive correlation.The general self-efficacy of the two dimensions of employment performance,that is,the process performance and the results were positively correlated.(4)The occupational values have a complete mediating effect between the general self-efficacy and the employment performance;the occupational values have a partial mediating effect between the general self-efficacy and the process performance;and the occupational values have a significant difference between the general self-efficacy and the performance Completely intermediary role.Based on the above conclusions,this paper puts forward suggestions to improve the employment performance of college students from the perspective of general self-efficacy:(1)Universities should take the initiative to carry out a variety of psychological counseling activities for college students to enhance their general self-efficacy.(2)make full use of extra time to increase practical experience,thereby enhancing their general sense of self-efficacy.(3)Colleges and universities should carry out targeted vocational courses to improve the general self-efficacy of college students.(4)Students should fully understand themselves,have a clear position on themselves,and improve their general sense of self-efficacy.The main achievement of this paper is that it can provide a theoretical basis for the college to carry out targeted career counseling courses to promote college students to improve the general sense of self-efficacy,thereby enhancing employment performance.The main innovations to be achieved in this paper are as follows:(1)Through the literature review of general self-efficacy,professional values and employment performance,a new main effect model,ie,the impact of general self-efficacy onemployment performance,is established.(2)In the selection of the research object,mainly for college graduates from Shanxi Province to conduct research.(3)The impact of each demographic variables on general self-efficacy,professional values?and employment performance was studied.
