Self-control of learning is one of the hot issues in the fields of educationalpsychology. At the moment, the researches focus more on the cognition, few studies useholistic methodology to study the relationship between factors. Meanwhile, researchmethods used are mainly questionnaire and experiments, exploring the characteristics ofjunior middle school students in the learning self-control development and therelationship between various variables. The research consists of three parts: At first,investigate the characteristics of learning self-control, the principles with gradedevelopment through questionnaire. Secondly, using the same way investigate to explorethe relationship among learning strategies, self-efficacy, and learning self-control. Finally,on the basis of it take further steps to study how to improve the learning self-control forstudents in different levels of self-control through experimental approach.There were three conclusions as follows:1,There were no significant differences on the gender. There were significantdifferences on the grade.The results showed that learning self-control decreased withgrade increasing. There are no interaction between grade and gender on learningself-control.2,There was significantly positive correlation among self-control learning, learningstrategy, self-efficacy and achievement of maths; Self-efficacy had direct influence onacademic achievement of maths, but learning strategy and self-control learning hadindirect influence on academic achievement of maths.3. Training is useful in fostering students' learning self-control's tendency,especially for the middle and low level of learning self-control's students.
