Mathematics is an important and basic course for the students in Secondary Vocational schools. It has great impact on reaching the objective to which able persons are cultivated. However, at present, most students from Secondary Vocational schools neglect mathematics learning, lacking interest and getting low score. I try to change the situation by searching for some effective methods and policy to raise their interest in mathematics learning. In detail, my research begins with a delicate questionnaire in which students'attitude towards mathematics, basic knowledge, self-confidence and the ability of self-controlling are involved. The aim is to catch the existing problems and how much interest they have in mathematics learning. On this basis, I fully make use of my experience in mathematics teaching to explore a policy of improving their interest. This assay is determined to improve the students'interest in mathematics learning in the following respects: firstly, setting up a harmonious relationship between the teacher and the students, secondly, inspiring the students'incentive, thirdly, cultivating their self-confidence, fourthly, training their ability of self-controlling. In conclusion, I have really put the policy into practice for further research. It's proved that my policy mentioned above does have some real effects on the improvement of the students'mathematics learning.
