The Effect Of The Internetial Virtual Community For The Youths' Socialization

When Ferdinand Tennies first posed the word"community", the theory of community was developing quickly. For the people living in society, the community plays an important role which any other social organization can't substitute. The community is the most common place where people live in, one can live without a family, but can't do it without a community. The community takes an important place in people's life. As information technology progresses, the internet technology develops with a never seen speed. As a part of the internet, internetial virtual community presents itself and progresses fast, meanwhile, it plays a more and more important role in people's life. It is different from the traditional community that internetial virtual community doesn't have a geographical circumscription. And an internetial virtual community spans the time limit, gives people a feeling of over time and spaces. Without differences of ages, any people, young or old, can spend their time in a internetial virtual community, which forms a wholly different system of social organization. The youths, especially young people with a certain degree of knowledge, make a good part of the internetial virtual community members. Their growing up is a process of socialization, and the internetial virtual community plays an important role through the processes.This thesis is about the relation between internertial virtual community and socialization of the youths. For this purpose, I choose several small typical internetial virtual community as my research observation. I collected the data with questionnaires, then analyzed it according to the classic socialization theory, I found that small internetial virtual community had made a large effect on the socialization of the youths. From another hand, I choose a few typical individual cases to analyze, which made up the misses of the questionnaires. According to my research, the internetial virtual community plays a double-side role in the socialization of the youths. On one hand, it clears the way for the youths to socialize, on the other hand, it hurts the youths, makes them can't go through the process. So we should not understand the internetial virtual community with only one eye, but a more scientific, dialectical research method. Only should we have comprehend the internetial virtual community well, that we can use it with a proper way. And we can make the positive side help the youths complete their process of socialization.The society is developing quickly, and the progress of people's socialization needs to be more perfect. Socialization is a continuous process, it goes through people's whole life. The youths'socialization is the most important part of the socialization, in this stage, people's world outlook and outlook of life is forming up, if they go to a wrong way it will lead to a serous result. Today, the information technology is developing faster and faster, so dose the scientific technology and the computer technology. Internet plays more and more important role in our lives. As a part of the internet, internertial virtual community is growing up day by day. The youths taking part in the internetial virtual community are infected surely, positive and negative both. We should guide them going to the right way, so they can make good preparations for future. The internetial virtual community born from the development of information technology, we should make good use of this new thing, and create more new internet organization which fit for the youths, then make the internet a side of people's socialization. We should strengthen the management of the internet, teach the youths more knowledge of security about internet, make them have a clear comprehend of the internet community. We should give the youths full-scale education, make them have a good physical body and a healthy mind and a profuse creativity. We should hand over the community well, which may provide the youths a fine surroundings. We should create more technical internet organization fit for the youths, leading the youths draw on the useful messages from the internet and throw away the useless information. At last, the whole society should protect the youths from the crime and violence, make the social environment clean and comfortable, then the youths can adapt the society well, and make their processes of socialization successful.
