Since New English Curriculum Standards was delivered, the middle school English teachers over the country have been attempting to apply the Task-Based Language Teaching (TBLT) approach in classroom teaching, and leading the students to use the way of Cooperative Learning. However, it is not scientific for them to adopt any foreign theory directly. In the particular Chinese national conditions, many attempts failed or didn't reach their original or ideal expectations.First of all, the thesis intends to probe into the TBLT theory and Cooperative Learning theory. It discusses the definitions, the significance and theoretical foundations as well as theoretical researches of the two. In view of the existing situation that Junior English teaching is carried out in large classes, a new mode, based on the theoretical and practical researches, which is named Tasked-based Cooperative Learning Mode is put forward, followed by its structural frame including in-class and out-of-class Cooperative Learning formulas.Moreover, the author used the experimental and observational method and questionnaire for researching to testify the feasibility of the mode and find out some possible operational problems, in addition to some teaching reflections to find out the way to solve the problems. At the end of the experimental analysis, the author points out the limitations of the mode.Finally, again it is stressed in the thesis that as English teachers, we should certainly make innovative educational theory and academic education English teaching work closely together, to cultivate the awareness of innovation and cooperation through English teaching practice, and we should actively explore new ways to implement innovative education for the students to lay a good foundation for the development of students' life. English teachers should be improved continuously, constantly explore and reflect and update educational philosophy in teaching practice.
