On Developmental Strategy Of Sports Industry In Chongqing

With development of social economics and culture, enhance of living status, and increase of leisure times, sports industry was developed into a new industry in the 1960s. As the sports cause develops, sports industry takes a greater proportion in the national economics, and its development becomes the focus of every aspects of the society.As the only municipal city in the western part of China, Chongqing's sports industry has made achievements to a certain degree with the development of economy and society. However, its development faces a good many problems. For instance, sports industry develops in a rather small quantity and has a weak quality; it has a rather low level of specialization and socialization; its industry structure is rather improper; there is unbalanced development in cities and villages; there lacks of basic infrastructures; besides, there is not enough talented people for sports industry, and the general level of industrialization is relatively low. Those factors have seriously restricted the development of sports industry in Chongqing.This topic belongs to the sub-topic of the National Sports Bureau soft sciences project "Chongqing Sports Industry Research". This thesis employs such methods as on-the-spot investigation, inquiries, comparison and analysis, literature and statistics and so on. From such angles as features of the development of sports industry, its running modes, and its managing modes, this thesis makes an analysis towards the key project of sports industry in Chongqing, "Two Rivers and Four Shores" healthy gallery, and at the same time, it analyzes the previous courses and status quo of sports industry development in Chongqing collectively, finding out the achievements and problems during its development. Based on the previous analyses, this thesis put forward suggestions and strategic plans to the sports industry development in Chongqing, striving for providing references for further development of the sports industry in Chongqing.This thesis constitutes nine parts. The first part is a literature review of the previous researches on this topic; the second part is an introduction to this research; the following part makes an overall review of the sports industry development both at home and abroad; the fourth part is a synchronized analysis of the development of the "Two Rivers and Four Shores" healthy gallery; after that comes an overview to the previous development course of sports industry in Chongqing; the sixth part deals with the overall status quo of sports industry development in Chongqing; the seventh part makes an analysis towards the basic factors in the sports development in Chongqing; what follows is a countermeasure analysis to the sports development in Chongqing; and the last part is made up of strategies and plans for the sports industry development in Chongqing.
