Study On The Exploitation Of Social Educational Function Of Tourism

The social education is one of the most important functions of tourism. Tourism bears the function of the economic development, but also it should commit to the educational responsibilities of promotion to social progress, such as knowledge, civilization and humane spirit heritage, and the development of sustainable tourism must pay more attention to its social educational function. Along with China's economic and social development, and the continuously process of building a harmonious society, the multi-function of tourism should also be improved. We should not only pay attention to the economical function of the tourism, it displayed the positive role or function of nationality and life quality promotion, impetus on development of the society harmony and so on. Therefore, to strengthen and develop the social educational functions of tourism, has a extremely important theoretical and practical significance.In this thesis, there are seven parts:Background, signification and purpose, train of thoughts and prepared study ways are expounded in introduction.The second part is a simple summary of the precursors' study. Including the domestic and international scholars' study, concerning the social educational function of tourism.In Part 3, the author describes the related fundamental theoretical, including theory of Demand Level, Sustainable Development Theory, System Theory, Theory of Individual Comprehensive Developments, Life-long Educational Theory and so on.The fourth part, proposed the conception of tourism's social educational function, carried on the division to the tourism's social educational function type, and has elaborated the content of tourism's social educational function.The fifth part discussed the mechanisms of tourism's social educational function playing, analyzed and clarified the two aspects of community education system elements and its functional mechanism, to make further theoretical study and for development of the tourism's social educational function.The sixth part mainly discussed how to develop the tourism's social educational function, take the four scenic spots in Gansu for example, investigated and analyzed the question which exists in the development of tourism's social educational function. The seventh part, the author puts forward some proposal and countermeasure to the development of tourism' social educational function. Finally, made summary of the whole study, and proposed further question that need to be discussed.
