Hidden curriculum is one of the most important parts in curriculum system and comparatively speaking it is the opposite of the explicit curriculum. Although it is implicit and hard to measure, indeed it has influence on students'emotion, consciousness, motive, attitude, belief and their view of value, etc.Language is the carrier and tool of carrying and expressing a certain culture. If we don't have a high standard of foreign language, we can't take in the quintessence from the foreign culture and also we can't spread our culture to the outside world. Now we spend a lot of time in our foreign language teaching, but the result is limited. So we have to find a method to solve this problem. The construction of hidden curriculum and its management in campuses is being paid more attention continuously because very often it has more effect on the students'views of study, value and moral.Mainly using the documents summary method, this article discusses the educational theory foundation and the foreign language teaching function of the construction of the hidden curriculum, further explains the necessity and feasibility of the construction of the hidden curriculum in foreign language teaching and brings forth the practical suggestions and methods in the construction and management of the hidden curriculum.There are not many research achievements about the hidden curriculum in foreign language teaching in our country, so hopefully the research on this subject will bring new contents, methods and styles in foreign language teaching and thus it will improve and develop our foreign language teaching environments, widely raise the quality of foreign language teaching and so we can have more talents with high quantity in the field of foreign language.
