Gymnastics is the backbone of physical education courses. To choose such contents, which are for Students'healthy development of both physical and mental and which are rich in characteristics of teaching gymnastics, is of important significance for teaching physical education to reach a goal. Through the study on the implementation of the"sports and health standards",this article analyzes the features and the structure of the gym Course content, and explores the gap between supply and demand. It aims not only to provide a new vision of teaching gymnastics of the Curriculum reform, but also to develop a new strategy to provide qualified PE teachers with the information, also to provide reasonable suggestions for the links of strengthening of Physical Education gymnastics Curriculum and health programs of the primary and middle schools. The author has collected the teaching plan and teaching content of gym course of some universities. Besides, the author made a research on the teaching content of gym in the middle school and 32 universities based on the specialty knowledge. By using literature, expert interviews, questionnaire, statistical analysis and comparison methods, Results of the survey are as follows:1,The Primary and middle schools of experimental zones of Shandong Province, which implements the"Sports and Health Standards"teaching gymnastics, has not received very good results.2,The gymnastic apparatus in elementary and middle schools are not sufficient, especially in the schools in the country. Lacking of teaching field and equipment is the main factor which affects the development of the gym teaching. Alignment and setting-up exercises in the gym teaching play the main role. Other forms of gym is rarely taught. The operant in the technical gym is not imbalance in the teaching and most of the schools pay more attention to only teaching some actions. Skills taught in the school are better than other forms of movements.3,There is a derailment of the current situation on gymnastics between teaching physical education and health curriculum in primary and secondary schools. So, the article provides a reference for proposals.4,Teachers College Gymnastics basically teaching the theoretical knowledge of the typical highlights of gymnastics ,more as brief. Basically, it is able to grasp the theory of teaching gymnastics at the core theory.5,The teaching content of the elementary practice in the universities is thought more of the alignment and setting-up exercises. Though it is involved in the light appliance gym and special instrument, the teaching content is simple and platitude. So it can't meet the needs of the gym teaching in the middle school. The teaching content in the practical gym can't contain the teaching content in the middle school and can't meet the demands of the teaching content. The technical movement in the technical gym teaching gives priority to the core movement. The structure and the technical type in the teaching content are relatively integrity. The teaching content is fit for the gym teaching of the middle school.6,On the condition of limited teaching hours , insufficient teaching equipment and bad teaching environment, it is good for the university to enlarge the gym teaching content . After implementing the guidance program, the gym teachers can take advantage of the teaching condition and try their best to explain the difficult movement to the students and provide the students opportunity to watch the match. It is very useful to arouse the students'interest. In view of findings, this article makes the following recommendations:1,The government should step up supervision and management to support and improve the primary teaching gymnastics facilities and environmental conditions.2,The choice of teaching Gymnastics should be necessary prerequisite for social development in terms of the science, humanity and nature as the benchmark as well as in terms of the effectiveness and adaptability. It embodies the"people-oriented and Health First"educational content.3,Give a basic adjustment of teaching gymnastics and technology arrangement. Increase gymnastics classes of elementary school and interesting projects strong skills for the technology as accessible.4,Increase Gymnastics teaching reform, and develop additional courses which are based on the new category of"Outline"gymnastics, and increase the Practical Classes of teaching gymnastics and other new projects.5,Integrating the major changes of physical education and health courses in elementary school, this article poses a reasonable construction for Gymnastics teaching of the Physical education major in teachers Colleges, and suggests a perfect converge of teachers between the physical education and the primary and middle schools.
