The last stage of the Warring States in ancient china,our country was in a historical period of the great social transformation. The"#"land system had been disintegrated,the land belonged to private property;The enfeoffs system was moving towards the final end,the monarchy power was being strengthened;The fission soon would finish, the country tends to the unity. It had been the historical inevitable development trend to establish a unified feudal country which was governed only a monarchy and his power was absolute centralization. To adapt this historical development request,The huanglao academic faction and the later period Mohist faction inherited and developed separately Mohist'and Mozi'thought, Hanfeizi carried on the theory summary to the legalist school thought,《LuShihChunQiu》mixed the pre-Qin thinkers'thought together, Xunzi inherited Confucius'and Mencius'theory and fused hundred academic faction thought. In other words,in the background of great social transformation historical, the pre-Qin thinkers academic thought was developing towards inheritance, fusion and innovation direction.Xunzi's moral education thought was not exceptional, he complied with the new request which came from the social great transformation to the moral education thought, based on"empty one and static"epistemology, established his moral education thought which contained the times characteristics of inheritance,fusion and innovation,and so on.In the view of inheritance characteristic , Xunzi inherited separately Confucianist Confucius',Mencius's certain ingredients of functions,goals and contents,methods of moral education theory;In the view of fusion characteristic, Xunzi absorbed some useful factors from Mozi'"value virtue"and the legalist"law";In the view of innovation characteristic,Xunzi believed, the moral education origined from person's social needs;Advocated that the function of the moral education lied in"leading the desire";Emphasized the trinity of kernel, righteousness and theritual,took the moral duty, Divided the limits of"good"and"wicked","honorable"and"shameful","justice"and"morality",and so on;Advocated the teacher'teaching fuction in moral education.Obviously, great social transformation has a profound influence on moral education thought. Firstiy, the moral education connotation changes along with the great social transformation, the concrete manifestationis are: The moral education is the product of the social economic relations, the moral education can maintain and promote the social economy relations'stable development;Secondly, the great social transformation need the moral education thought to inherit, fuse and innovate, Because, in the great social transformation times, inheritance is the objective request of its development to cause, fusion can enable its content to enrich, innovation may pour into the vigor for its development;Moreover, the moral education thought innovation must take inheritance and fusion as a foundation.Relating our country current society reality, we believed, our country is being in a great social transformation times, there are some interlinked places with Xunzi'times in the social overall characteristics. Therefore, the times characteristics of Xunzi'moral education thought may provide the beneficial model for the transformation of our present stage moral education thought: Complying with the times'requests, innovate on the base of inheritance and fusion. Namely,to inherit the fine national moral education tradition, fuse overseas outstanding moral education theory, innovate moral education ideology. Particularly ,in the innovation aspect, we needs the moral education in close integration with the law education,develop positively the democratic and scientific spirit, fully display the function of the network media.
