Secondary vocational education in our country has experienced several times of rises and falls. Especially its warming up in recent years makes it essential for us to newly examine the talent training pattern and school development positioning of secondary vocational education in our country, and further set up the school management pattern that suits actual requirement in China, which consequently promotes our secondary vocational education to develop healthily and successively.The text in this paper is presented in four major sections. In the first section we analyze our secondary vocational education development situation and its existent problem as well as the significance of school development positioning. The second section discusses how to define the connotation type development positioning of secondary vocational school. In the third section the author puts forward that how we think about the connotation type development positioning by the influence of vocational education idea, learning type theory and multielement function theory of Huangyanpei on the school development positioning, and by the comparison of talent training pattern at home and abroad. In the fourth section we probe into the basis of development positioning and the problem of positioning, and also research into that how to work out the school development plan and carry out the connotation type development positioning, and then finally the strategy of the connotation type development positioning of secondary vocational school is given.
