According to our country's background and on the base of the mid-normal education of three-year-system professional training for preschool education, the five-year-system professional training for preschool education. comprehensively improves the kindergarten teachers'quality and realizes the transition from the three-level normal school education to the two-level. It produces a five-year-system tertiary normal education pattern to train kindergarten teachers. This pattern starts with the promotion of Shanghai Normal School of Preschool Education to Shanghai Normal College of Preschool Education School in 1987. Because it was produced in a very short time and in the transforming period, it has to accept the challenge against the background of the popularity of the tertiary education and the open teachers'educational system. The curriculum arrangement is the crucial problem which is urgent to be solved by the five-year-system college for preschool education. This paper dose some research work on the curriculum arrangement of the five-year-system profession training for preschool education by using the document analyzing method, investigation, the case analyzing method and other kinds of research techniques. The paper is mainly divided into four parts:The first part accounts the developments of the course, the realistic difficulties, and the present research theory related to the curriculum arrangement of the five-year-system professional training for preschool education. Simultaneously, it explains the research methods in the paper.The second part deals with the present curriculum arrangement situation, the current characteristics and the existent problems of the five-year-system profession training for preschool education by investigation, visiting having talk and the case analyzing method. It provides the realistic foundation and the practical basis of the curriculum arrangement. The third part, on the base of education policy and on the base of the point of the time and the requirements of the pre-school education reform and the kindergarten teachers'quality, and also the age characteristics of the teaching target of preschool education, this sets up the training goals and the training specification of the five-year-system professional training for Preschool education.The fourth part regards the contemporary advanced curriculum idea as the foundation, associating with the realistic foundation the curriculum arrangement of the five-year-system professional training for preschool education. the five-year-system professional training for preschool education.
