Callings, Puzzlements And Solutions To The Research Into The Constructions Of The Humanistic Spirit In Writing Instruction

The humanistic spirit is being much more concentrated on in current educational circle, so is it in Chinese educational field .The syllabus of Chinese curriculum definitely put forward that the nature of Chinese curriculum is the harmony of the tool property and the humanistic property, so we can find the humanistic spirit in Chinese instructions has climbed to a new higher attitude. The writing instruction, as an important part of Chinese instructions, must focus on the constructions of the humanistic spirit. We discuss the necessities of the constructions of the humanistic spirit in writing instruction from the writing mentality of the students, the need of individual development and growth, the requirements of the concepts of the new Chinese curriculum and quality-oriented education, and the need of the democratic society construction. However, we find the phenomena of the loss of the humanistic spirit in current writing instruction. We analyze and explore the reasons from the scholar of"the nature of Chinese curriculum is tool",the lack of human culture of teachers and the wrong deviation of the writing test choices. Through the retrospection, we find two prerequisite conditions: one is the advance of teachers'the humanistic culture, the other is the change of the writing instruction. Then we learn from the expriences of writing instruction in developed countries and conclude the general principles and specific measures of the constructions of the humanistic spirit in writing instruction. This paper, integrated with my years of working and comparative research, studies the topic of the constructions of the humanistic spirit in writing instruction systematically, and is expected to trigger some contemplation of colleages onto this topic.
