With the implement of the new curriculum, a new circumstance flourishes. More research and discussion on the teaching of physical education in the classroom centering on the new curriculum are conducted. No matter how many changes made in the ideology of physical education teaching, in the content of teaching and in the teaching method, the final target is to improve the quality of physical education teaching and to achieve better effect of physical education teaching, in other words, the P.E. teachers should play an active role in physical exercising, mastering skills, entertaining and life-long thinking of P.E in whole hog by taking best use of the time, space and teaching resources in the classroom.To analyze the Physical Education teaching in High School in-depth and comprehensively, this thesis chooses the"effectiveness"of P.E.teaching as the subject and uses the method of literature resources, analytical comparison and logical analysis, standing on the practical teaching in high school. In this thesis, some key terms are introduced, like"efficient teaching","efficient teacher"and"efficient study"; the idea of the effectiveness of P.E. teaching in the classroom is also illustrated and the relating factors that influence the effectiveness of the P.E. teaching in high school. The P.E. teachers are the instructor, leader and promoter whose places are crucial and irremovable in teaching compared with other factors. Combining other concerning factors, a new frame of effectiveness in P.E. teaching in high school to make P.E. teachers in high school understand the setting of the teaching expectations, teaching ability of their own, management of controlling in the process of teaching and the feedback of teaching so that they can find out the key factors which influence the effectiveness of P.E.teaching in high school, design the countermeasures. These can promote the improvement of the specialized teaching stuff in high school and finally improve the effectiveness of P.E.teaching in high school. Meanwhile, this thesis can also offer references on teachers'understanding on the new curriculum, the cognition of the effectiveness of P.E.teaching and teachers'self-evaluation and inter-evaluation. In the last part, this thesis mentions some strategies of the implement and evaluation of the effectiveness of the P.E.teaching in high school.
