As a result of current Chinese education system, students of vocational school as a special social group, are facing keen employment competition and survival pressure. This research is trying to explore effective English learning strategies that are suited to vocational school students through analyzing the relationship between students'self-efficacy and learning strategy.Using GSES and SILL as main tool, this research is concluded on the basis of the studying of 190 students from Media and Art school of ChangChun Vocational Institute of Technology. It mainly studied the relationship between students'self-efficacy and learning strategy through the methods of equation difference analysis and relative analysis. The following results are found through analyzing:1. There are no great differences on self-efficacy among students of different gender and grades; there are no obvious differences on language learning strategy among students of different gender, while there are great differences among students in different grades. Comparing with secondary school students, college students have higher language learning strategy; the interactive effect on gender and grade is not obvious on self-efficacy and language learning strategy.2. There is obvious connection among students'self-efficacy and memory strategy, cognitive strategy, compensation strategy, metacognitive strategy, communication strategy and emotion strategy.
