The Research On Private Higher Education Quality Control System

With the acceleration of the popularization of higher education , private higher education is developing rapidly in our country .However, the quality of private higher education is not as satisfactory as its quantitative expansion. To enhance the quality control of private higher education is an important measure to improve the quality of private higher education.Since China has no experience in quality control of the private higher education, it mostly copies the practice of the state-run higher education, but in this way the quality control of Private Higher Education can not be effectively executed, so when we exercise the control, the special circumstances of the private higher education should be taken into our consideration to highlight the characteristics of private higher education, so as to better serve their unique role in the socio-economy. Therefore, the actual situation of the private higher education calls for the building of a quality control system which is different from the state-run higher education's .Private higher education quality varies greatly, the whole show polarization of the situation. The major factors of affecting the quality of private higher education are school funding, teachers, students, and other aspects. At present, the main problems of private higher education quality Control are single principal of private higher education quality control, Private Colleges internal self-control did not receive due attention and so on. In my opinion, integrity, effective private higher education quality control system should be consists of two parts: external monitoring system and internal control system. The main body of external monitoring mainly refers to the government and society, the government mainly through accessing assessment and quality accreditation to achieve his quality control purposes; and social control mainly through the reputation assessment to monitor the quality of private higher education. The main body of internal control is private universities themselves, it primarily refers private universities to the teaching input, teaching process, teaching output the three sectors, the whole process of quality supervision and control. Internal controls of private higher education quality must be have private higher education quality standards as a guide ,explicit the elements and content of quality control of each link, and through the establishment of an effective working mechanism, take effective control measures to realize.
