CA(IComputer-Assisted Instruction)is a new comprehensive computer technology, which has developed rapidly in the past 50 years. Using computers in teaching is a new teaching method in the process of math teaching reform. As is stated clearly in new course standard of math teaching, we should pay more attention to the teaching of math thoughts and the proper use of modern teaching methods to make full use of computer in teaching. So what is the best way to use modern teaching technology to put the teaching of math thoughts to a very important place?In order to apply the math CAI courseware well, to improve the standard of math CAI courseware so that the math CAI courseware assessment department can assess the courseware scientifically, to make sure the user of this courseware can select the proper one and the courseware researcher can develop this courseware with high standard and special purpose, we need to build up developed concrete methods of assessment and the reasonable and satisfactory system of assessment standard for math CAI courseware.According to the characteristic of math teaching, we decided to study the assessment standards of math CAI courseware. The contents are as follow.Chapter One: The statement of math CAI's definition and current situation of CAI courseware, the main subject of research.Chapter Two: Analyze and compare the very important CAI courseware system at home and abroad so that we can borrow the reasonable parts.Chapter Three: According to the characteristics of classroom teaching with new course standard of math teaching and the research of teaching assessment, we try to find out the standards for math CAI assessment.Chapter Four: Make a research in three aspects: skills of producing CAI courseware, characteristics of math CAI courseware, Basic mode of math CAI courseware in teaching.Chapter Five: basing on the respective survey on teachers'and students'opinions of CAI and math characteristics in teaching, we try to find out the teaching standard and technical standard for math CAI courseware assessment respectively.Chapter Six: Conclusion. Our own views on the trend of math CAI courseware and further research of assessment for math CAI courseware.The research method we adopted: (1) Compare and analyze different kinds of CAI assessment system. (2) According to the survey on computer in teaching among teachers from 56 schools in Changsha city, we designed a similar survey for middle school students and analyze the result.Achievement of this research: the standard of assessment of math CAI courseware, which comes from two aspects: math classroom teaching and skills of producing math CAI courseware. I. Standards of CAI courseware based on the characteristics of math teaching. Accuracy: Assessment of relevant contents, including 1.Obeydience of math rules and the contents without scientific mistakes. 2. The contents with strict logics and complete system. 3. Correct and standard words and background music. 4. Reasonable pictures and colors. 5. Correct diagrams and flash. 6. Reasonable transfer from different word text.Educational factors: 1. Assessment of teaching goals, including serving the purpose of math syllabus, proper judgment, meet the students'need, specific and concrete standards. 2. Assessment of teaching, including true and correct knowledge, clear key points and difficult points, proper difficulties, reasonable knowledge structure, closing to real life. Teaching factors: 1. Assessment of teaching method, including inspiration and instruction, stimulation of learning motivation, combination of best teaching methods, reasonable design of different teaching situations.2. Assessment of teaching process and ways, including meaningful exercises, natural teaching steps, proper teaching structure, proper use of Multi-media, different and creative teaching methods, students'interests.II. Technical standard of assessmentSkills: Assessment of skills of producing courseware, including 1. Proper music, pictures and flash. 2. Proper colors. 3. Reasonable screen design. 4. Easy-to-control sign buttons. 5. Reasonable menu design. 6. Clear and easy directions. 7. Proper use of different word text 8.
