| Strengthening and improving university student's ideological and politicaleducation is a foundational project which the party and the government attaches greatattention for many years. Especially, the 16th document sets the new goal and therequest to the new time university student's ideological and political education. Inrecent years, with the thorough development of the reform and open policy andinfluence of kinds of factors, the university students appears the phenomenon of fuzzypolitical conviction, light political consciousness and very different political qualities,but correspondingly, the appearing of insufficient, inconsiderate countermeasure andunremarkable effect in the university political education work can not change thisaspect freely, the university political education work is facing the stern test andchallenge.The author takes undergraduate student in Hohai University as a example, carrieson the attempt boldly in the use of the individual interview and the questionnairesurvey among the students to understand their thought condition and the four kinds ofattitudes towards politics approximately, namely the type of politics craving, the typeof politics caring, the type of politics on looking and the type of politics uncaring,describes basic composition situation and the characteristics of each kinds of typesfrom the proportion, the specialized background, the political appearance and so on,and carries on a whole analysis and narration of the reason for different attitudetoward politics to the university student thought politics condition from social factor,school factor, family factor, the same generation factor and family factor and so on.Then in this foundation, I set up the development political education goal, clear aboutthe development political education principle and the development political educationway, propose the development political education action and provide references to theuniversity political education work development.
