As a result of revitalizing domestic economy and opening up to the outside world,in recent years, the economy of Tianjin developed rapidly, attracted large floatingpopulation. In the future, with thoroughly developing of the market-oriented economy,the scale of the floating population will enlarge constantly. At the same time, the trendthat the floating population enter a city with family forms becomes more obvious. Asa chief reason of household migration, the education of children floating population ispaid high attention by people. It is no doubt that family education is very important inthe education of children of floating population, but in the view of status quo, thereare still some serious problems. At this point, the thesis puts the emphasis on theeducation of children of floating population, tries to advance the available guidingstrategies so that propel family education of children of floating population in Tianjinforward. In addition, for the sake of analyzing strategy countermeasures rationally, thearticle makes use of various methods such as observing, questionnaire method,document method, interview method and so on.There are five main parts of this thesis. The first chapter is the introduction partwhich introduces the intention and significance of the research. It also illustrates themain research measure and lays down the key definition in the thesis. Analyzing thebackdrop of the family education, the conception of parents, educational content andmethod, the second chapter describes the status quo of the family education ofchildren of floating population. In the third chapter, the author analyzes theinfluencing factors of the family education of children of floating population. Thefactors include three aspects: the internal factors, within families, external factors andsocial institutional factors. Probing into the principle of the macroscopic view of thegovernment and the microscopic view of the educators, the fourth chapter reaches aseries of conclusion of strategy and be emphasis on the countermeasure of guiding thefamily education of children of floating population. The last chapter is the conclusionpart which states the research conclusion. Seeing that many problems are still existing,the research needs thorough study.
