Tianjin District, The Floating Population Of Minors, Protection Of The Family

The "Law of the People's Republic of China on the Protection of Minors" has been firstly recensed after having been published 15 years, and the protection of the rights and interests of minors have gained an increasing number of concerning these days. Regarded as the first site of minors' socialization, family constructs a stable stage for the protection of the minors' rights, and it also plays an unsubstituted role in minors' development.Since the adoption of the reform and opening policy, our social framework has got a tremendous variation. Urbanization and industrialization brought a large number of country labour force to cities. With the familization trend of the population movement, the problem of offering education for this crowd's children seems strictly serious. Compared with the attention paid to the offering education, there's still not so much care for the protection of minors, saying nothing of the key factor and the foundation—family protection.This research made a territorial empirical study by using literature research, questionnaire, interview and participant observation, on the actuality of the family protection for minors of the floating population. In the aim of impelling the protection for minors of the floating population in Tianjin, there're also several positive proposals tabled in this paper.Among the four sections, the first part made a brief introduction of the original intention of this research, coordinated former research progeny, explaned the significance, described both the research methods and the definitions of relative concepts. The second part expatiated the floating population's background, parents' family protection conception, the survival right, development right, being protected right, participation right and being educated right of minors as well as the current condition of parents' accepting instruction of family education and family protection. The third part pointed out some problems which existed in protection of floating population's minors and then analysised its reasons. The corresponding advices were given out in last part.
