Basing itself on the social background of information-alization, the present thesis analyzes the society' s require-ments on teachers' information technology capcity resultedfrom the development and utilization of information and putsforward according to the demand of education and teachers thatteachers' information technology capacity should be compa-tible with the development of information technology.It alsoanalyzes the current situation of the study on teachers'information technology training home and abroad and proposesthe study method of this research topic.Then it mainly points out the problems like the blindnessof the training purpose, loss of balance of the trainees, lackof specific contents, too simple mode, incomplete system,uneven investment, and analysizes the causes of them like lackof well-established organizations, deficient attenttion fromthe school authorities, trainees negative attitude, andineffective practice.To solve the above-mentioned problems, the thesis pointsout that reform should be made in training target, trainingcontent, traning mode and assessment system. The training targetshould involve content training and level improvement of information technology capacity. The training content shouldcombine information techonlogy capacity and teaching designand modern education technology theory. As a complement topresent training mode and assessment system, a three-dimen-sional autonomous mode and quantitative assessment system areproposed.
