The science textbook plays a very important role in primary and middle school, as an important tool. The research of science textbook discourse mostly compared the textbook of different edition, researched the evaluation system and word-illustration of the textbook. It also probed into the compilation of concrete content, and researched the humanity spirit seeping into physics,chemistry and so on. This kind of research is merely limited to content compilation of the science textbook. It don' t probe into the essence of science textbook which is power. The study on the science textbook discourse has received more and more attention mainly as a result of the great change of the "context" of this research, which is reflected inthe progress of the theoretical research of such disciplines as sociology, discourse analysis and knowledge sociology. The studies of knowledge sociology have queried the knowledge discourse pointing out that knowledge is produced by the plan of knowledge strategies. The scholars of postmodernism have stated outrightthat the discourse is a kind of power relation; that the contention of the discourse power is full of all the "field" of discourse; that the strategies have always been used. The entire theoretical breakthroughs have provided new visual angles and methods for the researches of science textbook discourses. The paper here is trying to make clear the achievement of the researches about the science textbook discourse, attempting to research the different edition science textbook, on the basis of which, to find the author' s own research foothold, and to make some explanations to the problems of science textbook discourse and discourse power. Then the paper proposes to coordinate the relations of science textbook discourse and the power reasonably.The paper is divided into four parts: The first, summarized on origin of science textbook discourse research, present research, research meaning, research process and research method; The second, demonstrated the power seeping into the science textbook, revealed science textbook controlled by the power. And the power which is covered by science textbook discourse had confidentiality; The third part, carried an concrete analysis on science textbook according to angle of examination. The confidentiality of power is carried analysis on non-equivalent,patternizing,advancing supposes and separating of science textbook discourse; The fourth part, based on the present situation of power confidentiality and dialectical evaluation to the power, advanced to coordinate science textbook discourse and the power reasonably in the future, for the purpose of deepening the science textbook discourse research and compiled science textbook well.
