Inspired by the methodology of field in physics, theconcept of field in different subjects has commoncharacteristics. They all emphasize integrity, relation anddriving force. As a view-angle, the school field can providea new analysis method for the study of teachers' rights. Theschool field is a field of powers. There are mainly two kindsof powers here. They are academic power and administrativepower.The direction and intensity of these two force lines willaffect the change of the field, and thereby to the exercise ofteachers' rights.In the school field, teachers' rights mainly includedecision-making rights in teaching, the professionaldevelopment rights and the democratic rights. But in reality,teachers' rights are violated from time to time and sometimesthey are changed into a power that violates students' rights.The deep cause for these phenomena is that the line of academicpower and the line of administrative power are unbalanced. Thefactors of this unbalance are many-sided. Because of therestraint of the teachers' ability and academic level, the insufficiency of academic freedom tradition and the imperfectof ensuring system, the academic power are weakened and cannotcountervail the move of the administrative power. Besides, thecombined affection of the bureaucratic power and the outdatedadministrative system outside the field, as well as thedeficiency in the quality of the administrative staff, makesthe line of the administrative power change its direction. Thenthese two lines intersect and affect the realization ofteachers' rights.In order to make full use of the positive effect of theschool field to realize teachers' rights better, we must makethe move of the administrative power conform to the directionof the academic power. There is much work to be done. To providean external guarantee, we can divert the administrative poweroutside the field and replace the inner administrative power.To promote the academic power, we can found academic board inschool and establish national, professional, autonomousteacher's associations.
