The moral introspection is a rational thinking activity. It takes the already hadinitiative of the individual as premise and the established moral value goal as direction,mobilizing the students' own emotion and will to make a moral judgment on theirpresent and past behavior and motive. At the same time, the individual makeself-conscientiousness, self-recognition, self-surveillance and self-correctionaccording to the defect act and negative motive. Different from the traditional moraleducation which treats moral as object, goal and ideology, the moral introspection digthe moral of the students' innermost feelings and let the students use their related lifeexperience, understanding and analysis, etc to directly feel, appreciate andcomprehend the moral. In the end, we can internalize the moral knowledge, improvethe moral behavior and foster the moral personality. Such moral education waymobilizes the initiative of the object. Moreover, it can eliminate the counteractivemood because of obvious purpose of traditional moral education.Taking the university students as the object of study and the university studentdaily life as the background, the introspective moral education research discusses thestudents' introspective behavior in their daily life as well as its relation with theinternal and external factors. Consequently this essay can provide measures forteachers and self-taught methods and suggestions for students. In order to get a morereal finding out about the moral conditions and the moral introspective behavior ofmodern university student, we carried on the questionnaire survey to universitystudents who were draw at random. We have measured comprehensively students'moral evaluation to the multitudinous daily behaviors as well as their value cognitionof introspection, self-evaluation ability, introspective ways, depth of introspection, thethreshold of introspection, etc. Then we make a thorough analysis about the relationsamong external family factors, the individual's own factors and the function of moralself-introspection. According to the above analysis we put forward the correspondingproposals.The whole essay is divided into four parts. The first part is the literature summary and question statement, mainly introducing and combing the meaning andfunction of moral introspection as well as the relations between the moralintrospection and university students. At the same time, the first part also arranges themoral introspection in the Marxism theory. The second part is the demonstration,mainly taking the 943 undergraduate students of Nan Chang University who are ingrade one and two as the object. It investigates, analyses and evaluates their moralintrospection situation and the related factors. The third part is a comprehensivediscussion. On the basis of investigation results of the second part, it further discussesthe relations between the university students' moral introspection and daily behavioras well as internal and external factors. Therefore we propose some concretecountermeasures and suggestions, hoping to improve the university moral educationeffectively. The fourth part is the conclusion, comprehensively concluding entireresearch results.
